Quick Update
It appears I haven't been a very good blogger. I've fallen way behind, and there's no hope of catching up. I was even told that I have the record for the worst blog! Not surprising, and I agree.
My Excuse? Life on the road eats up a lot of time. What with traveling (usually 2 day drives) loading, unloading, getting groceries, cooking or 'hunting' down food if we don't have a kitchen (which is at least 2X/day), and trying to work full time, as well as keep up with my side 'art business' and advertising I just don't have time to keep up with the blog here as I'd like. To help remedy this Nate has volunteered to do some postings here and there. I think you'll find him far more entertaining than myself! :)
But, to update you since the last time I wrote, we have traveled from Edmonton, to Portland, OR, to Salt Lake City, Utah, to Costa Mesa, CA, To Las Vegas, NV, t Tempe, AZ, and we are currently in San Diego, CA. Along the way we've seen some breathtaking sights including:
- Mountains, Mountains, and more mountains- all different and gorgeous
- Multnomah Falls - Portland
- Rose Gardens - Portland
- Japenese Gardens - Portland
- Timpanogos Cave National Monument, Utah
- Disneyland, CA
- Universal Studios, CA
- Bryce National Park
- Zion National Park
- The Allens Pool, NV
- Hiked Mt. Charleston, NV
- Hoover Dam
- Grand Canyon
- Sedona, AZ
- Julian, CA

After 5 Weeks....
After 5 weeks in Canada we are just about to head to the US. We spent last week in Winnipeg and this week in Edmonton. Monday it's on to Portland. Winnipeg wasn't our favorite place, but we've really enjoyed Edmonton even though we've both been working so much we haven't had much time for site seeing.
Thursday we did get to the West Edmonton Mall and have some pix of that adventure in our Picassa Album.

Hello from Saskatoon, Canada! The photo to the left is of a beautiful sculpture in one of their parks.
Nate and I drove up Monday, July 2nd. It was a rather long drive, with mostly prairies and fields. Lots of small towns with one gas station, and maybe a diner or fast food drive through if you were lucky. We did pass through one beautiful valley full of hills. I posted photos in our Picassa web Album for Saskatoon.
The week has flown by and it's nearly time for us to head to Winnipeg on Monday. We celebrated the Fourth with other people from the Cast by having a small BBQ in the Park.
Other than that we've spent our spare time exploring Downtown Saskatoon, and some of the parks. They have beautiful walking/running/biking paths along their riverfront and through their parks. We've enjoyed spending time outdoors exploring those areas.

Minniapolis - Walker Art Center
Wednesday we visited the Walker Art Center. One of the highlights was the outdoor Sculpture Garden. This piece was one we really loved. it's a fountain, the water cascades down the side of the giant cherry that sits atop the spoon. Kids and adults alike wade into the pond that surrounds it to cool off.
To see more pix from the Sculpture Garden, as well as our trip to the Zoo, and a walk in a nearby Park Check out our Picassa Album.
