Wouldn't it be cool if political parties were run like professional sports teams?
In a political shocker, Mitt Romney finds himself switching teams midstream in a trade by the Republican Party. The trade sends Romney and an undisclosed amount of money to the Clinton campaign for Mike Gravel, Tom Daschle and Al Sharpton from the Democrats. Sources say that Romney had demanded the trade after a less than adequate showing in this week's Super Tuesday voting. Democratic leaders were happy to offload the salaries of Gravel and Daschle and threw in Sharpton to sweeten the deal. Sharpton could not be contacted for comment regarding the abrupt party change. Obama and Clinton both supported and then took credit for masterminding the trade. Baring a failed physical conducted personally by Sen. Mitchell, Romney will be moving his office to the other side of the hill as early as tomorrow.
Just think we could all be playing Fantasy Politics on Yahoo! (soon to be Microsoft) next season.

funny - but throwing in sharpton doesn't really sweeten the deal. how about he becomes a free agent & no one wants to pick him up? or maybe he holds out on his contract (for mo' money) & no one takes the bait? interesting post...i likes how ya think.
